Underwater Garden Update!
Hello there!
I have just got the original acrylic canvas of Underwater Garden back in the studio for a collector viewing on Thursday. It’s always difficult to show the true scale and detail of a painting like this online. So a studio visit is a great way to appreciate all the details, colours and textures in person.
Having it back in the studio has been a lovely reminder of just how big this piece actually is — and how special it feels to stand in front of it again.
It is always bittersweet whenever I sell an artwork. With Underwater Garden especially, as I have a deep personal connection to these two turtles. This painting pays homage to the relationship between my Nanna Emmie and her first husband George.
I do find comfort knowing that this artwork will go to someone who resonates with the deeper meaning behind this underwater scene.
