A Big Shift After 100 Surfboards…

I never really stopped to think about whether this surfboard art journey of mine would one day come to an end. The past five years have been a whirlwind—filled with creativity, challenges, and so much gratitude. I'm incredibly thankful to every single client who trusted me to transform their boards into one-of-a-kind pieces of art.
Right now, I’m working on surfboard number 90. But I’ve been dealing with an arm injury that’s made it much harder to continue working on boards. Unlike canvas, the height and posture needed for painting on surfboards is taking a toll.
So I’ve made a big decision: Surfboard number 100 will be my final commissioned surfboard.
I currently have 4 boards left in my order book, which means I only have 7 painting spots remaining before I close this chapter.
This doesn’t mean I’m stopping painting altogether—not at all! I’ll be shifting my focus to large canvases, working from an adjustable easel that supports my arm and posture better. This change will allow me to keep creating meaningful work and continue expanding my collection of prints and original pieces.
I might still paint on the occasional board, but I won’t be taking on custom surfboard commissions after board 100 (unless it's an idea that really speaks to me!)
To mark this milestone, Im excited to say that I am planning to compile a book featuring all 100 surfboards—a visual journey of the process and evolution behind transforming these once-forgotten boards into collectible art. It’ll be available to purchase once complete.
So if you’ve ever wanted to own one of my commissioned surfboards, now is the time. There are just seven spots left.
Send me a message or follow the link below to secure your place in the final seven.
As ever, thank you so much for your ongoing support!
